How does Destiny Matrix compatibility work?
Each birth date reduces to a core arcanum — the center of that person's matrix. The two cores are then combined into a pair arcanum: the energy the relationship itself carries, distinct from either person alone. All of it is arithmetic on the two dates — deterministic, the same answer every time.
Do we need birth times?
No. The Destiny Matrix works entirely from calendar dates — that's one of its defining features. Two dates are enough for both cores, the pair arcanum, and the harmony score.
What is the pair arcanum?
Think of it as the relationship's own chart position: one of the 22 arcana, computed from both cores together. Two people can each be steady, grounded types and still form a pair that runs on change — the pair arcanum is where that shows up.
Is a low harmony score a verdict on us?
No. The score measures structural ease, not worth — plenty of strong relationships are built across friction, and the friction line tells you where the work tends to concentrate. Treat it as a conversation starter, not a conclusion. For reflection, not prediction.
